Our Approach
Sophia utilizes a person-centered approach and view the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of therapy. Her priority is to make sure that it is a right fit between her and the client. She also utilizes a blend of attachment-based interventions, eye-movement desenistization reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma based interventions.
About Us
Sophia Kang is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing out of Fullerton, California. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis Human Development at Vanguard University. She earned her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis of Marriage and Family Therapy at Azusa Pacific University.
